El Cedral, Cozumel’s oldest Mayan ruins dating to 800 A.D., served as the island’s capital and largest community. Discovered by Spanish Conquistadors in 1518, much of the temple was dismantled. Further destruction occurred during World War II by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build the island’s first airport.

Chen Rio Beach have always been memorable, each time feeling like a nurturing escape. The beach’s fine white sands are perfect for those lazy walks or when you wish to soak in the sun while the rhythmic sound of the waves provides a soothing soundtrack.  Las Rocas is a spectacular beach located on the west side of Cozumel. It is known for its clear and beautiful water, making it a great spot for swimming. However, the beach lacks a reef or coral, resulting in very few fish, which may not make it the ideal location for snorkeling enthusiasts.

 Money Bar Beach Club isn’t the biggest beach, but it has a large bar and restaurant, tables and chairs with umbrellas on a large deck outside, lounge chairs on the beach, and of course that really good snorkeling. It is located just 5 minutes from the Puerta Maya and International Cruise Piers.

An ideal place for taking pictures of the exotic birds living in freedom, watching crocodiles and iguanas in their natural habitat, laying on the beach and snorkeling by the coral reef which lies offshore.
